NFL Draft 2025

The Seahawks embraced athleticism in this draft in a big way. First-round OL Grey Zabel fills a clear and present need, while second-round S Nick Emmanwori could become the next Kam Chancellor. Third-round TE Elijah Arroyo brings both size and skill to Seattle’s new-look receiving corps. Fourth-round DE Tory Horton brings length and twitch to the edge, while fifth-round DT Shemar Turner is a solid project for a young defense.

The Dolphins had a handful of needs to address, and they did a pretty good job with this draft. Second-round safety Malaki Starks and third-round OLB Mike Green both fit well and could contribute right away. But they also reached for fourth-round LB Storm Duck and sixth-round CB Jahdae Barron. Duck is a good player but doesn’t fill a major need, while Green led FBS with 17 sacks last year and brings an instinctive game to the field.

New England wisely spent the first four rounds addressing their offensive roster to give QB Drake Maye a fighting chance in his second season. First-round OT Will Campbell will help protect his blind side, while RB TreVeyon Henderson’s power and pass protection should benefit the offense on running downs. And third-round WR Kyle Williams and center Jared Wilson can contribute right away. But they reached for two players in the later rounds — outside linebacker Nick Martin and cornerback Upton Stout — who probably won’t start immediately and are closer to depth pieces.
